ADA Ramp and Sidewalk Improvements
Students and local advocates proposed a cost-sharing program between homeowners and the city to repair aging sidewalks and improve pedestrian safety. Roadway audit and rehabilitation program
Yuba City's 255 miles of road average a pavement score of 47 out of 100, and only about $3.7 million a year is budgeted for all road capital work. The new $2.14M pavement audit is the groundwork for a possible $12-14 million bond to fund one big repaving project, paid back with roughly $2 million a year in SB 1 gas tax money.
